P.F. Chang
Hadn't been to Plymouth Meeting Mall in *months* because of all the construction going
on there. When I go off of the bus on Wednesday and saw all the new restaurants, I was
*dumbfounded!! Can't wait to eat in all of them.

Waiting for Siss to pick me up from the gym. Got a new Video/DVD player @ Circuit City, various items @ Target, Giant and 5Below.
Gave into temptation,ravenous hunger and stopped to eat a Whopper w cheese. I'll have to work that one off!!

Waiting in car for Siss to come out of REI where she went to buy a vest for paddleboat. Saw friend, Ray, who had just bought a new bike.

In the News
Chatting with the ladies @ Exhale Beauty Salon while waiting my turn when the latest edition of the local paper arrived. I tore into it right away looking for my picture from the Relay. Luckily I knew where I'd been standing and that I was wearing my crazy Americanflagcatinthehat hat or I wouldn't have recognized myself there on the left.

Golden Dragonboater
Sis is home from Pittsburgh. Her dragonboat team, Hope Afloat (breast cancer survivors), won gold medals for coming in FIRST after three races. She also was given a dragon necklace.
Mandivilla flower buds
Hooray!! The Mandevilla is beginning to put out many buds. It should flower soon.
Relay for Life of Roxborough 7th year
Friday noon to Saturday noon
At least one member of each team must be walking the track at all times. Our goal this year is $75,000. We have until August 30th to meet this sum.
I walk with the team of Coyle's Cafรฉ in memory of their mother/grandmother,brother,sister-in-law and of my sister Consuella the Queen and my Aunt Hazel.

I saw the kids on our team when I walked around searching for our tent. Signed their shirts and then watched them sign each other's shirts. (Most of the adults on the team, their parents, will do the midnight to 9 ayem turns.)
Chili Cookoff
Great money raiser. I collected $ and gave out tickets for an hour until the heat and standing became unbearable.

Each team set up and decorated a tent where they sold raffle tickets, rested between laps and slept overnight.
Survivor Walk begins
We had to hurry and begin the walk as it had begun to rain. We walked arounf the track in the pouring rain. It felt refreshing after being out in the 90ยบ weather for hours.
