Got some flowers and went to visit my sister. She'd had a breast biopsy yesterday and I needed to sit and look at her and listen to her talk. We listened to Sinatra et. al. sing the standards and looked at old photos. Remembered a lot of good times.
She let me try on her new elephant backpack :) She has a large collection of elephants in many sizes, colors and materials---hundreds of them. Even has an elephant tattoo on her arm! But today was a day for the feel-good soft,cuddly,pillowy ones. Comfort and smiles.
