Rain, Rain, Go Away

No jazz and arts fest for me. It rained so hard I
could not see past the leaves on our trees turned away
by the rough breeze. Sis came over to visit Mother
laid low by neuralgia and lying under warm cover. We
watched Bruce do Seeger then Neil Young's DVD with my
favorite song "When God Made Me".
Reading the Sunday Inquirer and New York Times.
Praying for sunshine to brighten my mind stuck in
doggerel.
And I wonder who'll stop the rain.
