On February 22:
1956 Congressman Adam Clayton Powell
sends a message to President Dwight D.
Eisenhower stating that the White House
is responsible for safeguarding the lives
& civil liberties that local, state and federal
law enforcement & officials refuse to give.
1989 Col. Frederick Gregory becomes the
first Black to command a U.S space shuttle
mission.

Thursday is my volunteer day and that's
why I like Thursdays. I had four great
ladies doing four different activities so I
gladly ran from one to the other.
Going out to the clubhouse to help with
the newly formed writing club. Sounds
interesting.
